There are Five different ways to donate to Tripletech Ideas. We wanted to make sure that you knew how we are spending your donations.
If you donate to the Tripletech Ideas Fund, you are donating to Tripletech Ideas as a whole. This will help fund all of our projects. The money will be split so that each project gets a portion.
If you donate to one our Project’s funds, then the money you donated will mainly go towards that project. In most cases 100% of it will go towards that project. Sometimes a small fraction may go to a sister project, but that would be rare.
Why do you need the money? Believe it or not, it costs money to be on the web. Our most successful project, Magnae Famae costs us the most money. All of the other projects are registered at WordPress, so we don’t need to worry about Domain Registration fees until they become successful.
As mentioned above, Domain Registration costs us the most money. Also, any expansions we do can cost money as well. Our editors don’t cost us any money because it is all volunteer work. We thank them for working as volunteers.
If we don’t come up with enough money for Domain Registration, then we will lose MagnaeFamae.com, which would result in a lot of work to make sure that nothing is linking to that URL. We would like to try to avoid this, if at all possible.
